This work is based on transformation of natural one and destroyed for different goals by the people at the end. Because of that i chose materials that are natural in itself but transformed and processed later.

I wanted to tell the transformed thing's loss caused by changing and transforming process in my work. We used everything as if they are endless but everything has an end and not only does it concern itself but also it concerns other things out of it. Actually when a system occurs it feeds from other systems and
it corrupts, destroys them.

Changing is a multidirectional concept. The thing that doesn't change is dead. but in my work it is opposite. there is damage that comes with change. Nothing new is born from that damage on the contrary the change consumes existant systems. simply if we think as exhibition there is a urban change and it is showed as a good thing to the people. But we know that the city turns into a thing without soul, brain and history under the name of change. I tried to approach the subject ecologically in my work.

This work was produced for an exhibition in a funfair. My video was placed near a punch machine that gives you a numerical value of your punch.In my video I,myself try to fight against the punches coming from the darkness.

We can test the strength of our fist with a "punch machine" which requires only a little effort that provides us to face off our real power. Atlhough this machine tests the human's strength, in fact it is a machine, it resists to the human and it calculates the resistance.But how does it do, in comparison with what or whose power?

Funfair includes us to its fun in its own borders.At this point, we continue to live in system not different than the life's own system. We show little punches against the huge toys of the life. However, it never gets hurt,never gets tickled or never hungs up on the web of humanistic sensations.

Çalışma “ Manifatura@5533” sergisi için üretilmiş, İMÇ’de bulunan 5533 isimli mekanda sergilenmiştir.

Performans için Manifatura Projesi'nde ürettiğimiz sanatçı arabasını biraz değiştirdim ve İMÇ'de 6.Bloğun önünde simit sattım. Fakat simitçilerin simidi verirken kullandıkları saman kağıtların yerine Art Now kitabından sayfa yırtıp simidi buna sararak verdim.

This work is a performance I made in the IMC (Istanbul Drygoods Bazaar) area, shortly after the place was used as one of the location for 11th Istanbul Biennale.People working in IMC are socially and culturally members of low class their main goal is firsly to be fed. Therefore they did not realize the bienalle and had been alienated.
In my work I choose to sell the “simit” which is the cheapest street food. In the mobile simit vehicle, I used the paces of “ Art Now” book for packaging the simits. The pages turned into trash for those people who have touched these pages for the first and the last time of their lives.

The name of the work comes from the book “The World History-Dünya Tarihi”.The history books contain important people,generals and wars.Anyway we as ordinary people are drifted and vanished on the line of chronology.So my work tells the ordinary people rather than the people who conquer the world.

Apartman Projesinde "Herşey Yolunda Olacak" başlıklı sergi, Hrant Dink cinayetinin ardından yön değiştirdi ve " Hiçbirşey Yolunda Değil " adıyla sergiye devam etti.Bu çalışma o zaman gerçekleştirildi..
